Want to get the news from the event as quickly as possible Well, youve come to the right place. Last year, Apple moved its iPhone release schedule to the fall (October, to be exact), and we suspect it will wait until fall to update. Besides, Apple already has a lot on its plate at WWDC, planning to emphasize Macs, Mountain Lion, and iOS 6 (the latter two being tied together more than ever). Welcome to our meta-liveblog following Apples WWDC 2012 opening keynote. We're not expecting to hear much about the next-generation iPhone just yet. We wouldn't even be surprised if Apple previewed iOS 6 during the WWDC keynote, since there have been more and more rumblings about the next-gen mobile OS in recent months.
Apple is widely expected to tell us more about OS X Mountain Lion (and possibly even release it at WWDC), and updates are expected for iCloud as well. Almost the entire line of Macs is expected to be refreshed, including the beleaguered Mac Pro. This year's keynote at the Worldwide Developers Conference is expected to bring some major announcements, and possibly the largest simultaneous release of updated and new products in Apple's history.
